Like previous years, the Hyderabad Ashram of Bharat Sevashram Sangha distributed blankets to approximately 2000 families at the ashram premises today on 24th December 2023. Srimat Swami Advaitanandaji Maharaj, one of the first seven monk disciples of Acharya Srimat Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj started this seva at Hyderabad in 1955 at our earlier ashram at Hanuman Mandir at Domalguda, Gagan Mahal. Srimat Swamiji also established this ashram. In honour of Swamiji’s legacy, the Hyderabad ashram continues to serve the underprivileged people every year on this day apart from our regular seva to the needy people of the society. Ashram secretary Swami Munishwaranandaji Maharaj and Swami Venkateshwaranandaji Maharaj make all efforts to continue our humanitarian services to bring smiles to the faces of the less fortunate people. Distinguished people were present to commemorate this solemn occasion as a tribute to Srimat Swami Advaitanandaji Maharaj.
