Shri Shri  Shyama Puja and Deepavali utsavam which is also referred to as the festival of light were celebrated with much vigor on 31st October 2024 at Bharat Sevashram Ashram, Hyderabad premises. About 1500 devotees gathered to offer their puja and had the prasadam at the end of the Puja Havan. In the evening there was a religious conference where Mr. Sabyasachi Ghosh, the special secretary to Telangana Government presided over the meeting. Other special guests and speakers were Ashram secretary Swamy Ambarishananda Ji and Swamy Munneswaranandaji, who delivered lectures on Asram’s philanthropic works. Swami Amborishananda Maharaj, joint secretary of Ashram delivered a lecture on the importance of  Shri Shri Kali Puja on human life and its philosophic importance. There was a distribution of Saree and T-shirts to about 300 needy People in the Hyderabad and Secunderabad region.
