Shri Shri Kali Puja Deepavali Celebration 2017

Bharatsevashram Sangha, Hyderabad celebrates many Hindu festivals throughout the year. On 19th October, KaliPuja, Puja of the Mother Goddess Shakti and Deepavali festival, the festival of light have been celebrated at the Ashram premises of Hyderabad. A gathering of more than 3000 devotees thronged into the temple during the puja hour till midnight. A religious conference was held in the evening where the Respected judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court Shri M.S. Ramchandra Rao has presided over the function. Shri P. Chandra Shekhar, PRO of SBI Life Insurance, Shri Sarveshwar Rao, DGM of Sri Chakra Cements, Professor Shri Pranab Bhattacharya and Swami Muneeswaranandaji Maharaj were also present at the function. Respected Judge gave a brief and informative speech on Bharat Sevashram Sangha and Deepavali Festival. Professor Pranab Bhattacharya discussed the importance of Deepavali celebration and implication of Goddess Kalamata. The function was ended with vote of thanks from Swami Venkateshwaranandaji Maharaj.
At the end of this religious conference, there was the distribution of sarees to the poor and needy people of Hyderabad. About 1700 women were given sarees.
Prasadam was distributed after completion of Puja around midnight after the vaidik Havan. Prasadam distribution continued till Next day evening. More than 3000 devotees were blessed with Kalimata Prasadam. There were also a short function of religious songs during afternoon of next day, performed by city based music group “DAS INTERNATIONALS”.
Finally, on 21st October evening the grand immersion took place at Vinayak Sagar after a procession through both the twin cities.
